New software version#197

When is the new software version expected to release?
Is beta testing in the field part of the process?
Where can we apply for beta testing? :-)

I’m not sure about the actual process - this is pretty much up to Paolo. As far as development goes, we are aimaing for beta at the end of this year, with release penciled in around ISE or shortly before, depending on how the testing goes.
