Highlight button on touchscreen can easily be overlooked.
If you would long press (1 sec) to enable, short press to disable, it becomes more difficult to accidentally push this button on touchscreen.

Hmm, I see what you mean - but I think we would need to indicate this to the user as users who expect the change to happen immediately would think the button is broken.
For consistency, I think the same should be true for the blind button.
It would certainly be a good idea to do this for consistency with the Blind button as well.
