Button Backlight - default intensity may be higher contrast.

What is good values for you?

25% minimal, 75% maximal brightness is now what we are using.

Just coming back to this: The default here is 20% min, 100% max at the moment as it was found best like this earlier during testing.

A side note here: The Backlight setting is taken over into new shows, such as any option in the UI Setting Tab as well.

Could it be that a previous show had set it to a lower value?

That could certainly have been the case. If I remember correctly, levels were set to 50% minimal and 100% maximum value, which doesn’t give enough contrast. After creating a new show, I would expect Backlight Buttons levels to reset to a default setting. Like the setting you mention, that would be perfect.

Keeping the settings was actually something we made on a request a while ago so that users do not have to “redo” all of their user settings when starting a new show file. Especially as many users have their own console, we felt it was important to have this behaviour.

But since the underlaying issue is sort of “solved” I’ll close this issue.
