Let’s say I want a group of RGBW fixtures to color mix using faders/submasters.
I need the default color values for the RGBW parameters to be 0, and I need the submasters programmed with RGBW color parameters to mix their values using HTP. This can help the console be operated by novice users.

You can simply set the fader type to “Infade” and only record R, G, B, W into their own playbacks respectively and make sure the default values in the show library are set to 0.
Alternatively you could set each of the Functions in the show library to “Dimmable”, after which they will react to Dimmer Faders and may be compared HTP.
We do not plan on changing this to be honest as the whole priority concept is based around “HTP” = Dimmer / Intensity and anything else is LTP, just like in most other (bigger) consoles which could certainly add a lot of confusion for more experienced users; especially as there are several ways to achieve this already.

This solution works brilliantly, but wasn’t intuitive to find. Thanks for your help in pointing to this solution.

Very welcome :)

The “Infade” solution should be pretty familiar to programmers who have experience with Hogs, MAs or Chamsys consoles. I am unsure how Avo handles this tbh.
