Workflow ;
When working on COLOR VIEW WINDOWS .
In addition a button shortkey combination can be good to open COLOR VIEW; maybe a long press on COLOR Button ? …

So single press on Pos / Col / Gobo / Beam / Special goes to Values View?
Shift + Pos / Col / Gobo / Beam / Special goes to Presets?
I think that when in color view, pressing one of the IPCGBS buttons once could have the same behavior as pressing the virtual palette button in the main menu at the top right. This way, you’ll always return to the last screen even if you press one of the attribute groups. The long-press option on the color button, which opens the color view, might also be a good idea. I’d leave the Shift+IPCGBS combination as it is now, which goes to presets.

This goes somewhat in line with #184 and I think the behaviour should be consistent.
Always returning to the last screen may not be fully what is intended here, as this may bring you back to a cuelist view or even the menu which has no connection to the values at all.
Ideally, it’d be important to settle one a screen (or a rule) for a screen where the value encoders are available. I’m fine if it is “Change to the last open screen in main view”; I’d need to check the deeper logic with the resrt of the dev team though.
Yes, that’s exactly what I meant, obviously not going back to a settings screen, but always to the last screen open in the main view.

That makes sense. I’d make this consistent for #184 as well.
My idea was not to return to the last sreen, but continue the workflow; so after using the color view when I press POSITION button , I want to go quickly to position value, or GOBO to gobo value, etc…
@GlamorousDevil298 , so you mean to always move to the Value view but relative to the selected attribute group?

My main goal here is consistency, to be honest - it should behave the same if you come out of the color view, or if you come out of the Cuelist View.
We have this currently planned to go to the last active tab when pressing a feature group button. I feel this would be most consistent and most flexible with most workflows.
