Maybe a big software job ?… But If we are thinking to go on the road with the EDGE GO; to have the possibility to replace a fixture by another on a show seems very essential.

The next feature update will add the ability to clone fixtures, which will also work across fixture types (eg. clone from fixture type a to fixture type b).

This could then be used for type swapping as well.

about this new possibility ; Is it work on patch level ? or Programmer Level ? My request is about to have the possibility to exchange fixture in the patch and new fixture have to take the same Id and respond to all existing preset and cues in the show. It is for touring with the Edge GO if we will have different fixtures on each venues…
